Spanish phone number generator (mobile and landline)
Spanish phone numbers have 9 digits: mobile numbers start with 6 or with 71 to 74, and landlines carry their province's area code (9XX or 8XX). In international format they are written with +34 in front. This generator creates random numbers within those ranges, without checking whether they are assigned to a real line.
Mobile numbers use the 6XX and 7[1-4]X ranges reserved by the CNMC (Spain's telecom regulator), and landlines include the real area code of a Spanish province.
How it's calculated
6XX/7XX mobiles and landlines with a real provincial prefix; no check digit, only a valid range.
- Mobile: starts with 6, or with 7 followed by 1-4
- Landline: starts with 8 or 9, with a real provincial prefix
- Optional +34 international prefix
Frequently asked questions
Do the generated phone numbers belong to anyone?
They are random combinations within valid ranges and are not checked for assignment, so they could match a real line. Do not use them to make calls or send text messages.
How is the landline area code chosen?
The generator picks a random Spanish province and uses its real landline area code for the rest of the digits.
Do Spanish phone numbers have a check digit?
No. Unlike the DNI or the IBAN, Spanish phone numbers have no check digit: the only validation is that the number falls within an assignable range.
