Rate limits
Limit
60 requests per minute per IP, across all of /api/v1/*.
Response headers
Every response (success or error) includes:
| Header | Meaning |
|---|---|
X-RateLimit-Limit | Requests allowed per minute (60). |
X-RateLimit-Remaining | Requests left in the current window. |
X-RateLimit-Reset | Epoch time (seconds) when the counter goes back to zero. |
When you exceed the limit
429 RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED. Full details in /en/docs/errors. With lang=en, the message comes in English:
{
"status": "error",
"code": "RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED",
"message": "Rate limit of 60 requests per minute exceeded."
}
Batching into fewer requests
Instead of requesting one record per call, raise count:
GET /v1/{locale}/{generator}: up to 1000 per request.POST /v1/{locale}/bulk: up to 10000 rows per request, with several columns that stay consistent with each other.
For CI/CD pipelines that generate large datasets, a single bulk call with a high count
uses far less quota than many individual calls — see the CI/CD guide.
